Is it a time capsule?
Yes. The Capsule’s rugged construction, compact size, and watertight seal make it ideal for use as a time capsule. Schools, churches, and organizations often choose it for long-term preservation projects.
Can the hidden safe be found by a metal detector?
No — the Capsule itself contains no metal, so it cannot be detected by a metal detector. However, metal objects inside the Capsule might be detected depending on the depth of burial.
Remember: most thieves are opportunists, not treasure hunters. They don’t use metal detectors or dig around with shovels looking for something to steal. If it’s underground, it’s safe from sight — and from theft.
What if I forget where it’s located?
It’s rare to forget, but you can prevent that by:
• Telling a trusted family member where it’s buried.
• Marking the general area discreetly with an unidentifiable marker.
